Channel Islands domain names end in .JE (Jersey) and .GG (Guernsey) .
The islands were originally included in the 'GB' code by the International Standards organisation (ISO). The GG and JE codes (along with IM for the Isle of Man) were then reserved by the international postal union (UPU) and formed the basis for the domain. They were fully adopted into the ISO standard in 2006, upon the request of the respective governments of the three Crown Dependencies
